westbankmama, why would you vote for the Likud? They gave up the Sinai they gave up Hebron they abandoned Gaza. The only reason you seem to be giving is you think they will win. This is arguably the worst reason to vote for anyone. By this logic whoever is doing th best in the polls should be supported. It only gets worse when you consider the Likud has vowed to gove up more of Yesha to the Arabs. Why not vote for a party that is good and who wont compromise. If they lose, so you supported good and and were unssuccesful. But if you support Likud or NU and they win so youve supported evil and they won. Is that really something to be proud of?

scott - I guess you also agree with Avi Green.

Kahanaloyalist - 1. The people who make up the Likud now were either lukewarm toward or worked very hard to stop the disengagement plan, and they deserve our support.

2.If the left wing parties make up the government than NU will have no chance to influence. If the Likud makes up the government, than NU has a better chance to be part of the government. Unfortunately the Likud now is doing poorly, and they need our votes.

Every time the Likud comes to power the disaster grows. Begin a man who was as haed line as any man, gave up the Sinai. Shamir who had been part of the Lechi, he went to Madrid, his government wasdid not warn Rav Kahane zt'l when they knew he was going to be murdered. Netanyahu, came to power and reneged on his promise to abrogate the oslo accords, and he gave up Hebron. Sharon cam eo t power, he was the GodFather of the settlments and he gave up Gaza and N. Shomron. Netanyahu has vowed he will give up parts of Eretz Yisrael just not as much as the Leftists. What did they all have in common, they were all non-Frum. So of course they will give in to American pressure. They don't believe in Hashem or Jewish Destiny, I expect no more from them. But I am dissapointed in you since you are a Frum Jew so you should know better, and even if you weren't Frum you should know better because every Likud Prime Minister has been a disaster. Lastly, the Rambam rules EXPLICITLY that a non-religious Jew may not even be part of a Jewish government, let alone the leader of the Nation. So, by voting for any candidate or party which is not religious, you are going against the Rambam's ruling. Which was accepted by all Rishonim.
