The Hashmonean sponsors this week's Havel-havelim and does a superb job of bringing together both small and large blogs.
Rafi at Life in Israel really describes Yom HaShoah as it is in Israel, which reminds me again why I love living here.
Perspectives on what is happening in Israel from a family living in a very newsworthy part of the world.

What's a nice family like us doing in a place like this? We are an Orthodox Jewish family that moved to Israel in 1991. We learned Hebrew, found work, moved to a nice suburban community 30 minutes from Tel Aviv, had a few kids... Pretty boring, right? It would be, if half the world weren't so obssessed with where we live. The nice suburban community we moved to is in Samaria, in the west bank. When speaking to Israelis or other Orthodox Jews, we refer to the place we live in as the Shomron, using the biblical, Hebrew term for the region. We chose to use west bank in our name because it is more familiar to those who have never heard of the term Shomron. Welcome to all of you interested in reading about what is happening in Israel from the perspective of a family living in a very newsworthy part of the world.

WestBankMama (or better yet, ShomronMama!), it is NOT boring at all. I think it's GREAT that your family moved to Israel & made Aliyah - כל הכבוד -!
Just to let you know, I 'tagged' you for the notorious "A-Z Meme".
Tell me you don't know what that is. That way I'll feel so much better for not being the only un-cool blogger in bloggerspace (I am NOT implying that your blog is uncool, by the way). I just learned late in life (hahah) about the dreaded MEME...
See my blog, it tells you a little about myself (pseudonymically of course). G-d willing, one of these days...years...we will live in Israel again.
lady-light - welcome to my blog! I do know what this meme is, I have been tagged by Daled Amos already, but I have been too lazy to do it! Maybe next week..
Do it Mama!!
